How long do I need to book for a kid’s birthday party?

We have a minimum of 1.5 hour booking time. This will be good for most birthday parties, and can accommodate up to 15 kids. If you’re expecting more then 15 kids, we’d recommend booking 2 hours.

It depends on the type of event, and whether this is a themed event requiring special designs or not. For very large, busy events, in order to paint more people, we bring a selection of designs to chose from.

We use only professional, FDA-approved, hypoallergenic, water-based face paints and cosmetic-grade glitters. The paints are specifically formulated for use on the skin, and the cosmetic-grade glitters are safe to apply around the eyes. Our sponges are latex-free. Although allergic reactions to face paints are extremely rare, if you’re concerned that your child has very sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test first. And if you’d rather skip face painting altogether, we can always paint on arms or hands instead!

Yes! Warm water and soap usually do the trick. For darker colours, you may need a little olive oil or baby oil—just gently rub it on the skin, then rinse with warm water and a bit of soap

Yes, of course! Arm painting is always an option and a great alternative for little ones who might feel unsure about getting their face painted. This way, they can still enjoy the magic and watch it happen!

We usually recommend face painting for children aged 2 and up. That said, every child is different! The most important thing is that they feel comfortable and can sit still for a few minutes while we paint.

What type of events can I book your services for?

We cater to all kinds and sizes of events—for both kids and adults! These include birthday  parties, school events, corporate functions, Halloween and Christmas celebrations,  festivals, Family Day events, markets, bar-themed events, custom or individual Halloween face and body painting, pregnancy belly painting, bachelorette parties, corporate  branding, live body painting, and more. It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for weekends and busy times of the year  like summer, Halloween, or the holiday season. We’re happy to take bookings up to a  year in advance!

We’re based in Vancouver and serve the entire Lower Mainland, including Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Delta, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Port Moody, Langley, and Surrey. We also travel as far as Whistler and Victoria. Please note that travel fees apply for locations outside of Vancouver.

Setting up for face painting is nice and quick! We usually arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled start time, which gives us plenty of time to set up and be ready right on schedule. For body painting bookings, we arrive at least 30 minutes early, as setup takes a bit longer.

Yes, we do! Airbrush face and body painting is available for adults—for Halloween looks, private parties, special events, and more. However, we don’t offer airbrush services for kids’ events

We accept Interac E-transfer, cash, or cheque.

Yes, we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Once your deposit is received, we’ll send you an email confirming your booking date and time. The remaining balance is due on the day of your event.

We bring all of our own supplies and tools! We just ask that you provide a table, two chairs, and—if your event is outdoors—a bit of shade (like a tent or canopy). If you’ve booked airbrush services, please make sure there’s access to a power source.

Yes, absolutely! For larger events, 2 or more face painters are often needed. However, it depends on availability, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
